The box is hand-stamped at the smokehouse, Irish oak, dovetailed corners, Ardglass woodmark on the lid. Inside, the side is laid in greaseproof on a thin cedar board. The slicing knife is a small Sheffield-made blade we have used for ten years and now ship with the box. The tasting note is one folded sheet, hand-set in the Newsreader cut, with a few words about the batch and the dates.
It is the thing we send to chefs and to people who want to give something they have not seen before. We do not gift-wrap. The box is the gift.
Allergens: contains fish (salmon). Cured in salt, sugar. No artificial colours, no preservatives, no smoke flavouring. Best within 14 days of receipt; freezable up to 30 days.
